New Link: "Wilderness.net"

So I am getting things ready for my annual spring trip to SOMEWHERE...   And I am leaning more towards going to the Bighorn National Forest, and Cloud Peak Wilderness area this year.  So I am doing a lot of research into the area, (I just emailed the Ranger Office to see about trail conditions for mid-May and later (Snow free etc.)

Anyways, because of the COVID stuff going on, I have done more time searching the internet for info and I found a new website from the University of Montana, called "Wilderness.net" and is a way to link to all the US National Wilderness areas quickly.

Here is the link:

https://wilderness.net/default.php

You can search by state or wilderness area name if you know it.   It provides a basic reference to wilderness areas and other information you may want.

Take a look!

COVID Lockdown day #???

So I am at the end of my second full week of Self isolation (with the wife and the dog...)
I have been outside the house three times, once to get the wife cold meds, once to get the jeep washed before the monthly club membership expired for the winter, and yesterday to get pizza from Papa Murphy's (YUM!!)

A few things have changed around here...   Most notably my employment status!  As I was laid off last week on Thursday, as part of a corporate down-size to protect the revenue assets or something like that...    Anyways...   Now I have lots of time to do my homework for school (Which is all on line, and I am TOTALLY avoiding while I job hunt,) and work on my Blog...   And here we are!

There will be a lot more coming shortly.  I got my new Osprey pack on Monday, and love it!  Can't wait to use it this summer (Hopefully)!

Just need to get caught up on everything, and start putting together some content.

More soon!!
